Content in the app is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other healthcare professional. 1. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

The Service lets you record allergies and dietary restrictions and attempts to flag potentially conflicting ingredients. These warnings are generated automatically and may be incomplete or incorrect. They are not guaranteed to detect every allergen or unsafe ingredient.

If you have a food allergy or medical condition, do not rely on MyPantri alone. Always read product labels and ingredient lists yourself and consult your healthcare provider. Allergic reactions can be severe or life-threatening, and you are responsible for verifying that any recipe or food is safe for you.

2. AI-Generated Recipes & Content

Recipes, cooking instructions, ingredient substitutions, and other suggestions may be generated using artificial intelligence. AI output can contain errors, unsafe combinations, or impractical steps. Use your judgment, follow safe food-handling and cooking practices, and verify cooking temperatures and times from reliable sources.

3. Nutrition Information

Calorie and nutrition figures shown in the app are estimates generated by AI and automated data sources. They may differ significantly from actual values and should not be used for medical, clinical, or precise dietary-management purposes (for example, by people managing diabetes or other conditions) without independent verification.

4. Product & Barcode Data

Product information obtained from barcode scanning and third-party databases (such as Open Food Facts) is provided by external sources and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Always confirm product details against the physical packaging.

5. Food Safety

You are solely responsible for safe food storage, preparation, handling, and consumption. MyPantri does not monitor the freshness or safety of food in your home; expiration tracking is a convenience feature only and is not a guarantee of food safety.

6. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

All content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyPantri disclaims all liability for any loss, injury, illness, or damage arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including AI-generated recipes, nutrition estimates, allergy or dietary warnings, and product data. This does not affect any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws.
