These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyPantri mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by MyPantri ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the content you create (recipes, lists, photos, profile information). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by MyPantri and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
The Service integrates third-party providers (including authentication, AI, email, and product-data services). Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. Please review our full Disclaimers.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYPANTRI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED RECIPES, NUTRITION INFORMATION, OR DIETARY WARNINGS. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyPantri from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
MyPantri may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscriptions provide ongoing access to the premium features identified in the app. Apple displays the applicable localized price, billing period, taxes (where applicable), and renewal information at the time of purchase; prices vary by Apple storefront and may change. We do not promise a particular price or introductory offer in these Terms.
Any free trial or other introductory offer is available only when configured for the applicable App Store product and only to customers Apple determines are eligible. Eligibility is generally shared across products in an Apple subscription group, and an introductory offer is not guaranteed. After an introductory period, the subscription renews at the regular price shown by Apple unless you cancel before renewal.
Apple manages billing, refunds, and cancellation for an App Store subscription. To cancel, use your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (or Apple's account subscription controls), not the MyPantri account deletion flow. Deleting your MyPantri account deletes the MyPantri data described in our Privacy Policy but does not cancel an Apple subscription or stop Apple from billing it. If the app provides a Restore Purchases control, use it after reinstalling or changing devices; the Apple Account used to purchase must be the same.
Subscription access is governed by the following plan matrix. These limits describe access, not deletion of your data:

A premium expiration or downgrade does not delete pantry items, recipes, lists, dietary preferences, allergies, or medical restrictions. If a saved preference set exceeds Free's active limits, the additional preferences remain saved while you select which allowed preferences are active. AI recipes and safety warnings can be incomplete; always verify ingredients, labels, and food safety independently.
