Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyPantri mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by MyPantri ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users;
• Misuse AI features to generate unlawful or harmful content.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (recipes, lists, photos, profile information). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by MyPantri and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third-party providers (including authentication, AI, email, and product-data services). Your use of those features may be subject to the third parties' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. Please review our full Disclaimers.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYPANTRI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED RECIPES, NUTRITION INFORMATION, OR DIETARY WARNINGS. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyPantri from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
