This page explains MyPantri's current Free and Premium access rules and the separate role of Apple and RevenueCat in App Store subscriptions. The Apple checkout screen is the source of truth for the price, currency, taxes, billing period, and any eligible introductory offer shown for your storefront.

The weekly quota is based on UTC rather than the device's local time. A failed generation does not permanently consume a completed request, although an in-progress request can temporarily reserve capacity. The app's current quota display controls the remaining count.
A subscribed household owner can sponsor collaboration for one other member: two people total, including the owner. The sponsored member does not receive personal Premium features or extra weekly recipe allowance. This is MyPantri household sponsorship, not Apple Family Sharing. Shared data and membership are preserved when sponsorship expires, but shared collaboration stops until access is restored.
Free limits are access limits, not a request to delete data. If Premium expires or is canceled, MyPantri does not delete your pantry items, recipes, shopping lists, dietary preferences, allergies, or medical restrictions. Preferences beyond Free's active limit remain saved; you can select which permitted optional preferences are active. Allergies and medical restrictions remain safety inputs, but automated warnings and recipe output are not guarantees. Always read product labels and verify food safety yourself.
Apple processes App Store payments and controls subscription billing, refunds, renewal, and cancellation. MyPantri displays the localized product information returned by Apple; it does not guarantee a particular dollar amount or hard-code a universal price. Review the billed amount and renewal period on Apple's purchase sheet before confirming.
We do not promise a free trial. If an introductory offer is configured for an Apple subscription, Apple decides eligibility and shows the offer's duration and price. Apple generally permits only one introductory offer per customer per subscription group, even if offers are configured on multiple products in that group. At the end of a free trial or other introductory period, the subscription renews at the regular price shown by Apple unless canceled before renewal.
To cancel an Apple subscription, use Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions or Apple's cancellation instructions. Deleting a MyPantri account removes MyPantri data but does not cancel an Apple subscription. Apple billing must be canceled separately. If a Restore Purchases control is shown in the app, use it with the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
RevenueCat is used to synchronize verified Apple purchase and entitlement status with the MyPantri account. The app sends an immutable Clerk user ID as the RevenueCat app user ID, along with the product or entitlement status and expiration or renewal state needed to determine access. RevenueCat is not the payment processor and does not receive your Apple payment-card number. Apple remains responsible for the App Store charge, refund, and cancellation controls.
